HOW TO MEASURE THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF YOUR HEAD?

For custom made wigs or right choice of wig, you should know your head circumference.

There are three main wig cap sizes. We advise you give an inch to adjust at the nape.

Small: This measures between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

Meduim: This measures between 54cm and 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).

Large: This is Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE

Getting the right measurement is as easy as having the tape.

  • Place the tape at the center of your forehead and go round your head.
  • Ensure the tape sits just behind you ears.
  • Pull it around the nape of your neck over your other ear.
  • Bring the ends of tape measure to meet in the center of your hairline at forehead.
  • Record measurement.

In addition, measure Front to Nape
On the Average :
Small – less that 13.25”
Meduim – 13.25” to 14.25”
Large – 14.25” to 15.5”

WIG CARE:

To get the best results, you should shampoo and condition your human hair wigs before you style and wear them.

Heat-styling is recommended. Heat-styling smooths the cuticle making it look and feel softer.

It’s time to wash your wig is if the hair appears dull and sticky. If you move but the hair doesn’t, it’s time to wash.

We recommend washing and conditioning your wigs every 5-7 wears. To retain moisture, deep conditioning is recommended once in a while. Use recommended products made for color treated human hair and follow manufacturer instructions when using a deep conditioner or treatment.

It is recommended to use hair oils and serums on the ends and spray a heat protectant all over before blow drying and heat-styling.

WASHING HAIR/WIG:

  • Place hair under running lukewarm water. Allow the water to run from roots to ends.
  • Place a small amount of shampoo in your hand, evenly and gently stroke it through the hair in a downwards motion from the roots to the ends.
  • Rinse by holding under running lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Gently squeeze to press out excess water. Do not twist or wring.
  • Place a small amount of conditioner in your hand, evenly and gently work it through the hair in a downwards motion from the mid-shaft down to the ends avoiding the base and root. Applying conditioner to the base may cause shedding.
  • Leave conditioner on for few minutes or follow manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Rinse by holding under running lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Gently squeeze or use a clean, dry towel to press out excess water. Do not twist or wring.
  • Place wet hair/wig on a wig stand until it is completely dry. Finger styling is recommended.

STORING YOUR HUMAN HAIR WIG:

To retain the wig style and texture, we recommend you keep the wig upright and undisturbed. You can use a Styrofoam head or wig hanger or stand.

Tips & Tricks

  • Wash or rinse all human hair products and style before wearing. Human hair is not ready to wear out of the box.
  • Rinsing with lukewarm water. Hot water could damage the cap and can cause the hair to become dry.
  • Store the wig upright.
  • Lace is delicate and should not be tugged or pulled.
  • Avoid brushing the hair when wet to prevent damage.

HOW TO WEAR YOUR WIG WITHOUT GLUE.

  • Place the wig on you head and cut the lace ensuring it is cut correctly to the size of your head circumference
  • Take off the wig and attach a band on both sides of the wig. Ensure the measurement of the band is just right so it is not too tight or loose.
  • Avoid sewing on the lace. However, if you must for a better grip, be careful so you don’t ruin the lace.
  • Your wig is ready to be worn anytime without using glue.
